the jw i dated had lots of money and seemed to take the religion pretty much a la carte.
when it was to his advantage he'd play the religion card, but he seemed to get away with a lot.
by that i mean he owned and flew an ultralight, spent lots of time at the airport with non jws, slept with me (although they didn't know that), traveled to europe 2x to take his non jw mom to france, spends a lot of time visiting his mom in fl.

although inactive and filled with doubts about the organization for a number of years, i truly disregarded all thoughts of it as a 'cult'.

i happen to bartend at one of those chain resturants, it's an ok job and is one of the few jobs that also allows me to go to school at the same time.
as with an service job, the workforce is very transient, including even the managers.
a few months ago we got a new manager that looked very familiar to me, like i had seen him before in my old jw circuit.
